新浦區人民政府網站 Description: 新浦區是連云港市的政治、經濟、文化中心。轄區面積260.4平方公里，人口36.92萬人。下轄3個鄉、1個鎮、6個街道辦事處及1個林場，國有云臺農場分布于境內。
新浦區海陸空交通十分便捷，是連接西北、中原和蘇北、魯南的主要交通門戶。距港口、機場均在30公里以內，隴海鐵路貫穿境內，寧連、徐連、汾灌高速公路及204、310國道縱橫穿越，國家“十五”規劃中的同三和連霍兩條高速公路在此交匯。

新浦區具有獨特的旅游資源。國家“4A”級風景名勝花果山坐落其間；始建于南北朝的南城鎮是蘇北地區有名的佛教、道教勝地；擁有山海、玉蘭花王的東磊風景區有“蓬萊仙境”之稱；被譽為“江蘇九寨溝、蘇北張家界”的國家“4A”漁灣風景區更是風姿卓越，是避暑納涼的旅游勝地。
